Jen Pappas Yennie is a freelance writer and self-professed travel junkie currently living in Southern California. In addition to writing artist features for Hi-Fructose Magazine, Jen is a regular contributor to Bespoke, Montage, and Laguna Beach Magazine. She recently wrote the introductory essay for a ten-year retrospective (ISM: 10) and just earned a single-subject teaching credential from Cal State Fullerton in January, 2013.

Jen’s work has also appeared in Orange Coast Magazine, Nylon, Newport Beach Magazine, Punk Planet, and Venus Zine. Her poetry can be found in past issues of ZZYZVA, Eclipse Literary Journal and Transfer. Jen is a morbid lover of bike rides, Bukowski, mail art, the dictionary, happy hour and Steven.

Steve Yennie hates the idea of a bio and refuses to write one. Thanks to Jen’s coattails, he´s become something of a photo journalist and hopes to publish a calendar of goofy animal close-ups one day. His work has appeared in Nylon, Hi-Fructose, PLANET, Arrested Motion and Lonely Planet Magazine.

Mr. Yennie may be humble in his accolades but is a wonderful photographer and should indeed pursue his dreams in goofy animal pictures!
